How to play truth or dare as a couple
The party version has a circle and a bottle. With two people it needs one small change: you take turns choosing for each other.
The two-player rule
Instead of picking your own card, your partner picks for you. You say truth or dare; they tap it and read it out. It removes the temptation to keep choosing the safe one.
Set the spice before you start
The dial at the top of the game runs from 1 to 5. Level 1 and 2 are safe anywhere. Level 3 gets honest. Levels 4 and 5 are written for two adults alone, and they are the reason the door should be closed.
The skip rule
Agree in advance how many skips you each get — three is a good number. A skip costs nothing and keeps the game from turning into an argument. Nobody should be talked into a card.
